Currently we offer two portals; ‘Client’ and ‘Occupant’. Each provide a valuable link to our bespoke CRM system. This is the engine house powering all data management for developers and occupants alike.

As we develop our technology we envisage providing further gateways that will make even greater use of the vast amount of information we hold.


‘Data-Build’ provides every client with the facility to access performance reports 24/7 and therefore monitor their jobs.

Browser based technology enables smart phones, tablets and PCs to see every job and all associated elements whenever needed, providing ultimate knowledge and control.

In addition to creating reports on the fly, our scheduling tool allows the user to build a programme of regular reports that are automatically sent via email.

Similarly, home owners have their own portal access too. This means they can report a defect and track a defect – again whenever and wherever they are. In both cases access is via a secure platform which is password protected.

We’re always looking for ways to improve our portals online. We work continuously on the improvement of the occupant and the client portal depending on the feedback we get from our customers.

We’re also in the process of scoping out a Contractor Portal. This would allow contractors to access their own jobs and pick up on advertised work. We aim to be able to update on this development by 2021.

During this difficult time After Build’s service continues as normal. Given our technology platform, the team is able to operate remotely without impacting on service levels – this includes Out of Hours Emergency cover.

In the event that a developer’s contractor is unable to attend a property (either because they are instructed not to, or because a homeowner does not wish it) the Property Coordinator will take full details of the issue, recording it on our system in readiness for making an appointment just as soon as matters return to normal.
