After Build has been appointed by Laing O’Rourke to provide services for the residential element of Oxford’s new Westgate Shopping Centre.
The £440m complex boasts over 100 new shops, 25 restaurants and cafes, a boutique cinema and 59 luxury flats. There is also an underground car park, rooftop terrace dining and new public spaces.
Laing O’Rourke were appointed by site owner Westgate Oxford Alliance, a joint venture between commercial property company Land Securities plc and The Crown Estate. Preparatory work at the 800,000 sq ft site began in February 2015 following planning approval by Oxford City Council.
After Build’s Head of Operations, Mark Fawcitt, said “We’re delighted to be working with Laing O’Rourke and Land Securities at this prestigious scheme. We have been selected because of our specialist experience in providing customer care to residents of new-build and this scheme has 59 such apartments which will each receive our service.”

In the event that a developer’s contractor is unable to attend a property (either because they are instructed not to, or because a homeowner does not wish it) the Property Coordinator will take full details of the issue, recording it on our system in readiness for making an appointment just as soon as matters return to normal.
