After Build is delighted to accept responsibility for Customer Care at Huller & Cheese. These two distinct buildings have been converted to create an exciting collection of 50 contemporary one, two and three bedroom apartments overlooking Bristol’s Floating Harbour.
Featuring exposed brick & ironwork in Huller House, to oversized windows and concrete columns in The Cheese Factory, the blend of the original features with stylish modern fittings offers unique and elegant homes.
With the addition of two brand new storeys crowning the building, 6 outstanding and spacious penthouse apartments have been created with a top of the range specification.
Huller & Cheese is one of the latest innovative schemes emerging from mixed-use developer Generator Group, who operate to deliver residential and mixed-use opportunities mainly in London and Southern England. This includes their West Country division, Generator South West whose focus is to invest in further development opportunities either for outright purchase or joint venture delivery.
Huller House comprised two vacant warehouses that were in a state of disrepair. One building is a 6 storey brick built Grade II Listed warehouse and the other is one of the earliest examples of a concrete framed building in Bristol. The warehouses are interlinked and it is estimated they were built around the turn of the 20th century. The buildings are two of the last remaining to be converted along Bristol’s vibrant Floating Harbour.

During this difficult time After Build’s service continues as normal. Given our technology platform, the team is able to operate remotely without impacting on service levels – this includes Out of Hours Emergency cover.
In the event that a developer’s contractor is unable to attend a property (either because they are instructed not to, or because a homeowner does not wish it) the Property Coordinator will take full details of the issue, recording it on our system in readiness for making an appointment just as soon as matters return to normal.
